Welcome to the BIG SHOTS West Virginia Reign Elite page. The Elite was established in 2006 and has steadily grown into Wv's top travel basketball organization. A statewide program based out of Fairmont, the Elite has players who come to us from all over the state and some who travel to us from out of state. Our brand is known all around the country. We are well respected and have 100's of college programs that follow us. Our system that we run has been applauded by many and helps in the development of our players. Under the direction of Director/Head Coach Ronnie Nuzum the Elite is a BIG SHOTS Slam Series circuit program which has led to numerous college signings for our kids. The committment we have to our student athletes is second to none. If you are looking for a program that truly cares about kids off and on the court then the Reign Elite may be for you. #BeElite
The goal...
Our goal has been simple since the birth of the Elite. To change basketball in West Virginia by being honest and truthful with our athletes while playing against the best competition possible. Our goal is to develop our athletes on and off the floor and put them in a position to garner the best exposure with our schedule plus with in season development that will hopefully lead to recruitment/scholarship oppurtunities

Director/HC Ronnie Nuzum

Entering his 19th season, Coach Ronnie Nuzum has a passion to see young people succeed on and off the court. "The Coach" as he is known, has developed the Reign Elite into one of the premier programs on the BIG SHOTS circuit and east coast. The organization is one that college coaches turn to and trust on the regular when looking for future college student athletes. Coach prides himself on skill and development while having a fundamental approach with discipline to let his players grow as individuals on the floor. The system Coach has implemented is often praised at events by opposing teams and fans. Coach Newz can and will help your player gain exposure and reach their potential. As a player, Coach was a three year starter at Fairmont Senior High School, three year all conference selection, 2nd team & 1st team Class AAA All State Selection, All Mon Valley 1st Team, Marion County Player of the Year & NCAC Player of the Year. Selected to play in the North/South, NCAC/Big 10 and AAA/AA-A all star games. Attended Salem University as a college basketball signee. Coach is regarded as one of the top basketball trainers in West Virginia right now with players statewide coming in to his SKILLZ SESSIONZ workouts and is also a top basketball official in West Virginia. Coach is assisted by Coach Rich Anderson and Coach Daundre Glover.

Boys Grade/Middle School Tryout Sunday October 20th Fairmont Senior High School on campus new gym 2031-2033 12pm - 1:15pm 2029-2030 1:15pm - 2:30pm Boys High School Tryout Sunday October 20th Fairmont Senior High School on campus new gym 2025-2028 2:30pm - 4:15pm It is recommended that players attend the October 13th tryout if possible. One parent must attend the tryouts. Travel seasons will begin in the spring of 2025. If you are unable to attend the tryout you may come in for an evaluation during Coach Newz's SKILLZ SESSIONZ workouts. Message for that information.
